Grey Lynn Residents Association – Annual General Meeting
8 September 2025, 7:00pm

Committee Members Present: Brandon Wilcox (chair), Tania Mace, David Batten, Nicola Legat, Jo Hurst, Peter Bell (minutes)
Apologies: Dan Salmon, John Dymond, Pippa Coom
In attendance: Alex Bonham, Lisa Prager, Gael Baldock, Maria Fredatovich
1. Welcome and Apologies
Brandon opened the meeting at 7:06 PM and apologies were noted.
2. Minutes of 2024 AGM (held on 2 Dec 2024)
Minutes of the last AGM were read by Brandon Wilcox.
Resolution: That the 2024 minutes be accepted.
Moved Brandon, seconded Peter.

3. Activity Report
Brandon submitted the Committee Report for 2025 and spoke to key areas of activity for the year.
Resolution: That the 2025 Committee Report be accepted.
Moved Peter, seconded Jo.
CARRIED
4. Financial Report
Tania tabled the Financial Report.
Resolution: That the financial report for the year ending March 2025 be accepted.
Moved Brandon, seconded Jo.
CARRIED
5. Election of Committee Members
Dan Salmon and Nicola Legat, who have come to the end of their two-year term, were nominated and re-elected to the committee.
6. Constitution
Work has been done in the last year to meet the new requirements made of incorporated societies. As a result The GLRA needs to have at least 5 committee members on the GLRA committee. There must be at least 5 members present for a quorum at committee meetings.
Resolution: That the updated Constitution be accepted.
CARRIED unanimously.
7. General Business
Gael Baldock expressed disappointment at the GLRA constitution which only permits residents to sit on the committee.
Lisa Prager contended that Occupy Garnet Road should be consulted by Grey Lynn Residents Association on any issues of roading in Grey Lynn.
Lisa Prager nominated herself for a position on the committee (for which elections had been held and voted on earlier in the meeting).
